Old Economy Village in Ambridge provides a glimpse inside the lives of German immigrants who left their home for economic and religious freedom in 1804 and settled here. Visit the Richmond Little Red School in Beaver, built in 1844 or visit Greersburg Academy, the oldest standing academy in western Pennsylvania, built in 1802.

For the hunting enthusiast, Beaver County offers numerous, well-maintained stocked state game lands. The rolling hills and beautiful farmlands provide the hunter with good hunting opportunities.
You may want to attend one of the many polo matches held at the Darlington Polo Field. Play usually begins in May and continues through September.
